What is it About?

MIMM produce graduates who are able to develop knowledge in the field of integrated micro finance management, through research that produces innovative and tested work. Able to solve problems in the field of integrated micro finance management through an interdisciplinary approach, through research and development that is beneficial to society, and able to get national and international recognition. MIMM graduates can work in the micro finance sector as managers and social entrepreneurs in community development.

What Will I Study?

This new International Masters Program is an international class whose graduates are entitled to a Masters Degree in Integrated Microfinance Management. Graduates from this program also have the option of obtaining Integrated Microfinance Management certification by participating in a certification program conducted by the Study Program with Partner Institutions.

The MIMM is a program developed by the Faculty of Economics and Business Unpad in collaboration with the Leiden Ethno Systems and Development Program (LEAD) from Universiteit Leiden in the Netherlands and members of the international consortium for Integrated Microfinance Management (the International Consortium for Integrated Microfinance Management), including the Community Movement for Microfinance Development (GEMA PKM) in Indonesia and The Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania (MAICH) in Greece. The IMM program is the output of the International Project in Integrated Microfinance Management for Poverty Reduction and Development in Indonesia organized by ICIMM with financial assistance from the Ministry of Economy of the Netherlands Government.

Curriculum

The MIMM program is very suitable for stakeholders in the field of Microfinance through the community empowerment process, such as Community Development actors, Social Entrepreneurs, Micro Small Business Developers and Cooperatives, as well as Village Owned Enterprises. With a study time of 3 (three) semesters.

Career Paths

Graduates of this study program mostly work as banking professionals, financial institutions, non-governmental organizations, and government employees. Due to its unique approach and being the only integrated micro finance program in Indonesia, graduates of this program are also in great demand to become lecturers.
