
Economics
The Bachelor's degree in Economics (BEc) is an undergraduate program that focuses on the study of how individuals, businesses, and governments make decisions regarding the allocation of resources. Students in this program learn the principles of micro- and macroeconomics, as well as how to apply those principles to real-world situations.
In the BEc, students can expect to take courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, statistics, and econometrics. They may also have the opportunity to take specialized courses in areas such as international economics, public policy, and labor economics. In addition to coursework, students may be required to complete internships or hands-on projects to gain real-world experience in the field. Graduates of the BEc may find jobs in a variety of industries, including government agencies, financial institutions, consulting firms, and nonprofit organizations. They may work as economists, market analysts, research assistants, or policy advisers, among other roles. With further education and experience, they may also be qualified for leadership positions in their field.

BEc is accredited "A" based by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education. BEc is also internationally accredited by ABEST21 (The Alliance on Business Education and Scholarship for Tomorrow), a 21st century organization. BEc is a member of Association of Asia-Pacific Business School (AAPBS).
The BEc produces academically excellent, professional, and accountable graduates with technical economic skills (technical skills), leadership attitudes (leadership skills), and the ability to blend in and socialize (social skills).
The BEc applies international standard curriculum using an outcome-based education (OBE) approach that focuses on measuring student performance through outcomes. The students of BEc can finish their study in three and half to four years. Currently Bachelor Program in Economics record rank #451 – 500 for Economics and Econometrics based on Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings (QS WUR) by subject.
International undergraduate students of BEc can apply for double degree program or spend one semester at the overseas partner university to study, experience the host country's culture, and undertake practical assignments to enhance their skills. The BEc has international partnership with many overseas universities such as the University of Canterbury, New Zealand; Hochschule Bremen - University of Applied Sciences (HSB), Germany; Tecnologico de Monterrey, Mexico; Groupe ESC Troyes, Champagne School of Management, France; Ajou University, South Korea; University of Tsukuba, Japan; and National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore.
BEc students have also participated in IISMA (Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards), the Government of the Republic of Indonesia scholarship scheme to fund Indonesian students for mobility programs at top universities overseas. The destination campuses in the IISMA program include the University of Pennsylvania, US; Lancaster University, UK; University of Science Malaysia, Malaysia; University of Sydney, Australia; University of York, UK; University of Szeged, Hungary; National Taiwan University, Taiwan; Western University, Canada; and Pompeu Fabra University, Spain.
