Bachelor of Chemistry study program is already obtain A grade from National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (2006-2022) and since October 2021 our bachelor study program was also accredited by Royal Society of Chemistry

Bachelor of Chemistry study program is one of the best study program in Universitas Padjadjaran have some education improvement project, including Quality for Undergraduate Education Project (QUE Project, 1999-2004) and Indonesia-Managing Higher Education for Relevance and Efficiency Project (I-MHERE Project, 2005-2010) from World Bank. Both project were used to improve the quality of our education and as a result our study program become one of the best chemistry study program in Indonesia. In 2020, our study program was one of the most stringent study programs among bachelor study program in Indonesia.

The program hasi the Vision to establishment of superior higher education institutions that recognized in regional level (ASEAN) in 2020 and international level in 2025, that cares about professionalism in education, research, and community service in the field of chemistry.

The progarm states its Mission

a.. Perform high-quality higher education in chemistry in order to create high integrity bachelor graduate with high integrity that has strong fundamental in chemical sciences and its application, mastering laboratory work, creating research products and has ability in scientific communication that comply community requirements that use chemistry graduates.

b. Perform chemical science research and their applications, especially in the management of natural resources and the environment that beneficial to the welfare of the community.

5. Program Outcome

PO1

Student is able to use their knowledge in the fields of inorganic, physical, organic, analytical and biochemistry to identify, separate, characterize, synthesize, and analyze structures, properties, and chemical changes of a system.

PO2

Student is able to apply chemical safety and security in the chemical experiments and also in the handling, storaging , usage and disposal of chemical substances.

PO3

Student is able to apply critical thinking and scientific method to design, implement, record, and analyze the chemical experiments.

PO4

Student is able to show their abilities in the use of appropriate instruments to acquisite, collect, and analyze the data obtained from the chemical experiments.

PO5

Student is able to explain basic knowledge in the process of industrial chemisty

PO6

Student is able to communicate both orally and writtenly in a good indonesian and international language in a topic of chemistry within internal and external chemistry community corresponding to professional standard

PO7

Student is able to document, store, secure, find back data to ensure the authenticity and to avoid plagiation.

Student is able to use general and specific softwares to analyze and synthesize in the fields of inorganic, physical, organic, analytical and biochemistry

Student is able to solve simple to interdiscipline chemistry issues through the application of knowledge and experience in the fields of natural and nonnatural chemistry that are environmentally friendly
