Bachelor's Programs

Universitas Padjadjaran offers a wide range of Bachelor’s (S1) programs across its faculties. These programs emphasize a balance between academic theory, practical application, and research exposure, preparing graduates to be both intellectually capable and socially responsible professionals.

The bachelor's degree is the standard undergraduate academic program in Indonesia and typically takes four years (8 semesters) to complete.


Duration and Study Mode
  • Duration: 4 years (8 semesters), extendable up to 14 semesters if needed.

  • Mode of study: Full-time, on-campus.

  • Credit system: Semester Credit Units (SKS) equivalent to ECTS for international comparison.


Structure of the Bachelor’s Programs

Each program typically includes:

  1. University-wide mandatory courses (e.g., civic education, Indonesian culture, ethics).

  2. Faculty core courses — foundational subjects relevant to the discipline.

  3. Specialization/elective courses — advanced topics chosen by the student.

  4. Research and final project (Skripsi) — an undergraduate thesis or research-based capstone project.

  5. Optional experiential learning — internships, community service, or student exchange programs (domestic or international).

Most programs require completion of 144–150 credits (SKS).
