Marine Science
The Bachelor Degree in Marine Science at Universitas Padjadjaran emphasises the conservation andutilisationof marine biological resources. These two main aspects can be assessed by Physical Oceanography, Biological Oceanography, Chemical Oceanography, and Biotechnology approach.
This unique field is supported by the existence of a rigorous curriculum, lecturers with a wide range of expertise, scientists, laboratory staff, and administrative staff who are experts in the field. The Marine Science Program also has been supported by various institutions that collaborate with Universitas Padjadjaran. The fourth industrial revolution (4IR) and new education curriculum based on “Kampus Merdeka” will shape the future of higher education, including the IKL-UNPAD undergraduate course. Our institution has experienced numerous significant changes and has developed an ambitious strategy to adapt and engage academics in evolving enhanced reality and to tackle the aggregating effects of 4IR's multiple exponential technologies. Our university has published a document to enhance the education system and curriculum. One of our significant efforts is to update the undergraduate program's course structure and implement a hybrid curriculum by 2020.
