Accounting

Bachelor Program in Accounting (BAcc) is established with the aim to produce excellent accounting graduates that are qualified in mastering theoretical and practical concepts in accounting related fields and can positively contribute in a globally competitive environment.

In the BAcc, students can expect to take courses in financial accounting, managerial accounting, auditing, and tax accounting. They may also have the opportunity to take specialized courses in areas such as forensic accounting, international accounting, or accounting information systems. In addition to coursework, students may be required to complete internships or hands-on projects to gain real-world experience in the field.


Graduates of the BAcc may find jobs in a variety of industries, including public accounting, private industry, government, and nonprofit organizations. They may work as accountants, auditors, tax preparers, or financial analysts, among other roles. With further education and experience, they may also be qualified for leadership positions in their field.


BAcc is accredited superior/Unggul by National Independent accreditation institution for Economics, Business Management and Accounting (Lamemba). BAcc is internationally accredited by ABEST21 (The Alliance on Business Education and Scholarship for Tomorrow), a 21st century organization. BAcc is a member of Association of Asia-Pacific Business School (AAPBS).


The BAcc applies international standard curriculum using an outcome-based education (OBE) approach and develops subject-specific and extra-curricular qualification objectives and skills based on technical competence in accounting in accordance with Indonesian Qualification Framework level 6 (KKNI) and international accounting education standards (IES). Currently Bachelor Program in Economics record rank #500+ for Accounting based on Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings (QS WUR) by subject.


International undergraduate students of BAcc can apply for double degree program or spend one semester at the overseas partner university to study, experience the host country's culture, and undertake practical assignments to enhance their skills. The BAcc has international partnership with many overseas universities such as the University of Canterbury, New Zealand; Hochschule Bremen - University of Applied Sciences (HSB), Germany; Tecnologico de Monterrey, Mexico; Groupe ESC Troyes, Champagne School of Management, France; Ajou University, South Korea; University of Tsukuba, Japan; and National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore.


BAcc students have also participated in IISMA (Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards), the Government of the Republic of Indonesia scholarship scheme to fund Indonesian students for mobility programs at top universities overseas. The destination campuses in the IISMA program include the University of Pennsylvania, US; Lancaster University, UK; University of Science Malaysia, Malaysia; University of Sydney, Australia; University of York, UK; University of Szeged, Hungary; National Taiwan University, Taiwan; Western University, Canada; and Pompeu Fabra University, Spain.
