Regular Graduate Programs

Universitas Padjadjaran’s regular graduate programs are primarily delivered in Bahasa Indonesia. However, international students may receive academic support through English-language textbooks, reference materials, and other learning resources, depending on the study program.

International students who are not yet proficient in Bahasa Indonesia may first enroll in the Bahasa Indonesia for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) program. The BIPA program is designed to help students develop the language skills needed to participate effectively in lectures, academic discussions, assignments, and daily campus life before beginning their graduate studies.

Master's Programs

International Graduate Programs

Universitas Padjadjaran’s international graduate programs are delivered fully in English, including lectures, academic discussions, assignments, examinations, and learning materials. These programs are designed to provide an international academic environment and to accommodate both Indonesian and international students.

Doctoral Programs

Universitas Padjadjaran welcomes international students to a wide range of graduate programs designed to provide globally relevant education while offering meaningful engagement with Indonesia’s rich cultural and academic environment.

Graduate programs at Unpad are offered in two main formats: regular programs, conducted primarily in Bahasa Indonesia, and international programs, delivered primarily in English. For students enrolling in regular programs, Unpad supports their academic journey through the Bahasa Indonesia for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) program, which helps students develop the language proficiency and cultural understanding needed to succeed in their studies.

Unpad’s international graduate programs offer English-taught curricula designed in line with international academic standards, providing students with valuable learning experiences and globally oriented qualifications.

Currently available international graduate programs fully delivered in English include:

Master of International Relations
Master of Public Administration

In addition, Unpad offers more than 80 master’s programs, around 30 doctoral programs, and approximately 40 specialist/professional graduate programs under regular study schemes, which are also open to eligible international applicants.

Unpad also provides diverse Double Degree and Joint Degree Programs in collaboration with international partner universities, offering students broader academic pathways and global exposure.
